The Program

The Spirit of Liberty Foundation is undertaking a patriotic campaign to honor and support America’s Armed Forces by selling the first annual 2006 Freedom Ornament to the American public.

The Freedom Ornaments are being sold for $9.95 each with over half the purchase price being donated to America’s Armed Forces, their families and charities that support them.

The funds generated from the

Freedom Ornament will be donated to the most respected service organizations that help the men and women in our Armed Forces and their families through the charities that support them.

Organizations Supported

The military service organizations, who will be working together for the first time and will receive over half of the purchase price of each ornament are:

The American Legion’s “American Legacy Scholarship Fund”

The Fisher House

The Veteran's of Foreign War’s “Unmet Needs Fund”

Additionally, for every Freedom Ornament sold, one ornament will be given to a member of the military as a gift from a grateful nation.

The Ornament

The first annual Freedom Ornament has been created by the Spirit of Liberty Foundation, a 501C3 Foundation, to honor and support America’s Armed Forces.

It is the hope that millions of Patriotic Americans will display the Freedom Ornament throughout the year, as well as during the holiday season, in their homes, offices, and vehicles as a stunning example of our Nation’s resolve and commitment to both the spirit and meaning of liberty for our Armed Forces and their families.

This 2006 limited edition Ornament depicts in brilliant, full-color on one side, the Statue of Liberty on it’s 100th Celebration.

The other side of the ornament features “Today’s Spirit of Liberty”, the men and women of our Armed Forces with a depiction of the “Spirit of ‘76” in the clouds overlooking them.

Timing

The 2006 Freedom Ornament will go on sale during America’s most patriotic time frame beginning July 4th with the emphasis in the fall and then being sold throughout the year. The Ornament will be sold year round after its premiere so that it may serve as a special reminder of how much Americans appreciate, and support our Service men and women and their families.
